What is the 3D Zygoma Reduction?

So now, what is the 3D Zygoma Reduction?
Generally, we recommend 3D Zygoma Reduction to patient who has all prominent zygoma type.
It reduces the volume of whole zygoma. Since the lower part of the zygoma supports the zygoma body, it prevents the undesired displacement of the zygoma body. And we fix the zygoma with microplate to prevent zygomatic nonunion and dislocated.
Patient could remove microplate after 6 month.

1) Anterior & Lateral zygoma osteotomy (L-Shape)
2) Shift to inward a produced zygoma and fix with microplate
