Girin Information Center - What is the Lifting360?

Today's Topic - What is the Lifting360? Lifting360 procedure is that uses a PDO (Polydioxanone) thread with Acculift to correct aging face such as wrinkle and sagged skin. The procedure is combination of conventional face lift and thread lift effect. There are 2 types of lifting360 procedures; 1) Lifting360 (Full face) - This procedure is for deep nasolabial fold, jowl, marionette line and sagged cheek. 2) Lifting360mini (Partial) - This procedure is for chubby check, nasolabial fold, crow's feet and forehead line. And shown above picture the thread is different with conventional cut thread (suture). 1) Molded thread (suture) - It is that diamond stays in perfect shape for at least 12 weeks and its biodegradation rate is relatively low. 2) Conventional cut thread (suture) - It deforms and lts tensile strength decreases dramatically over time. * Lifting360 Before and After pictures However, patient has to discuss with doctor which procedure is suitable. Girin Plastic Surgery Clinic Review Surgery -  Lifting360 (Acculift & Thread lift) The patient had 2 jaw surgery 2 years before. After the procedure, she had got problem with her sagging skin.  Dr.Lee recommend to get lifting360 procedure which include Acculift and Thread lift. The thread is absorbed and approved by FDA. Combination of those two procedures is the best way for face lift. Deswelling would start from 5 day and dramatically changed until 6 month. Girin Plastic Surgery Clinic Review Surgery -   New V-Line & Zygoma Reduction & Paranasal Augmentation The patient had  prominent cheekbone and wide mandible. She want to make narrow and has smooth facial shape.  After discuss with Dr.Lee, she decided to get surgery; New V-Line and Zygoma reduction. * Post-operative 1 day As shown above picture, swelling is not much worse right after procedure. Recovery period of facial contouring is required around 6 month (Fully recovery). And within the period, the surgical areas looks uneven and symptoms such as swelling, and bruising might be occurred. However, those symptoms would be disappeared generally.    After procedures, she happy with her new facial shape.

Girin Plastic Surgery Clinic Review Surgery -  New V-Line with Genioplasty revision The patient underwent New V-Line with Genioplasty revision in Girin Plastic Surgery clinic. First time when she had jaw reduction surgery in other clinic, she wanted to reduce her long chin and wide jaw line. But, there is no change afterward and she still had got problem with long chin. Dr.Lee column - Double chin after facial contouring

Topic - Double chin after facial contouring Why double chin symptom is happened after facial contouring? There is two cases (Jaw reduction & Zygoma reduction) to compare the result. Both of patients underwent same procedures; Jaw reduction and Zygoma reduction. However as shown above two pictures, result is different.  The reason is that each of patient has different body condition. Patient, in CASE 1 has thin skin and no much fat on face.  On the other hands, CASE 2 patient has thick skin and fatty face.  CASE 1 patient even did not undergo face life procedure, she just underwent facial contouring only. Although CASE 2 patient underwent face lift before having facial contouring, the reason patient still feel double chin is she had much more fat and soft tissue on her face. Topic - Various type of jaw reduction procedures There are various type of jaw reduction procedures to reduce mandible. First. T-shape osteotomy To narrow chin-tip, it is required to undergo chin surgery such as T-osteotomy and sandwich osteotomy. Patient who has wide,long,short,square chin-tip choose those procedure to make narrow chin-tip. Procedure is that cut a bone in to T shape (shown above picture) and removed the middle portion. Second. Jaw reduction + T-shape osteotomy Patient who consider about mandible & chin-tip reduction choose the procedure. The most general procedure and many patient choose the procedure, but it is required long recovery period because surgeon need to cut many bone and it is caused huge damage on surgical area. Third. Dr.Lee column - Facial contouring revision

Topic - Facial contouring revision The patient underwent facial contouring revision by New V-Line (long curve osteotomy). Before revision, Dr.Lee checked the surgical area. There were secondary angle and U-shape of chin-tip (Shown above pic, left two yellow circles are 'Secondary angle' and right yellow circle is Microplate screw). Dr.Lee recommended long curve osteotomy procedure to correct those issues. Dr.Lee reshaped the mandible bone to remove secondary angle and microplate screw as well (Yellow circle - Removal microplate screw after revision).  * Microplate screws which removed by Dr.Lee To choose right facial contouring procedure is quite difficult. However, the most important thing which patient has to consider is 'SAFETY'. Otherwise, patient would be under the dangerous!

Topic - Facial contouring revision Many patients choose wrong facial contouring and under the stress about result. The patient which shown above also had choose wrong facial contouring before, and got side-effect such as asymmetry zygoma, secondary angle, and U-shape of chin tip. The patient visited us and discussed with Dr.Lee about facial contouring revision. At that time, Dr.Lee recommended to correct uneven zygoma bone and reduce wide chin tip through New V-Line and Zygoma reduction.  Also patient want to make narrow chin as much as possible as well. After revision, patient happy with the shape of mandible and zygoma.  To choose right procedure, patient need to discuss with doctor very carefully.

Dr.Lee column - Asymmetry jaw correction through New V-Line

Topic - Asymmetry jaw correction through New V-Line The patient had New V-Line to correct uneven mandible. Also she had a lot of soft tissue and fat around mandible as well, so Dr.Lee recommend to Acculift to reduce fat. Dr.Lee made narrow her jaw through long curve osteotomy method. As shown above 3DCT pictures, uneven jaw corrected after procedure. Patient does not need to choose extra chin surgery such as T-osteotomy. Long curve osteotomy is the most simple and required short recovery period.

Dr.Lee column - Is it more safe to fix with mircoplate screw for zygoma reduction?

Topic - Is it more safe to fix with mircoplate screw for zygoma reduction? The patient had New V-Line and 3D Zygoma reduction. First time when she visit us in person, she asked about New V-Line only. But, she had been under the stress because of her wide and prominent zygoma. So Dr.Lee recommend 3D zygoma reduction as well. 3D zygoma reduction requires 1 microplate screw fixation on anterior cheek. She asked to fix extra microplate screw on her lateral cheekbone to prevent cheekbone drooping after surgery. Many patient misunderstand about cheekbone dropping. The issue is not occurred by lack of screw, it caused by wrong zygoma reduction procedure. After procedures, she happy with the result. Girin Information Center - Recovery of Lateral Canthoplasty

Today's Topic - Recovery of Lateral Canthoplasty These days, many patient choose both double eyelids surgery and epicanthoplasty to get much defined and bigger eyes appearance.  The patient (above picture) underwent  Lateral canthoplasty with double eyelids surgery. It is required to take minimum 6 months get new eyes (eyelid) shape. Within the period, surgical area would be occurred temporary symptoms such as swelling, bruising, edma and etc. Although the patient has been taken 2 months which means during recovery period, her eyes gets much bigger and defined than before. As shown above, the under eyelids of patient gets longer after procedures. Girin Lateral Canthoplasty procedure is advanced procedure to minimize of side-effect.

Dr.Lee column - Wide and square jaw reduction through New V-Line

Topic - Wide & square mandible reduction through New V-Line * Before and After Today's topic is about New V-Line which is mandible reduction through long curve osteotomy. The above picture is about before and after of New V-Line procedure. The patient had big and square mandible bone. She want to change her face as more attractive and feminine appearance.  After discuss with Dr.Lee, she decided to do New V-Line and Acculift for better appearance.  This is not an answer to reduce much bone for facial contouring. Each of patient has different shape and size. Dr.Lee always discuss and design with patient as detail, otherwise the risk of side-effect would get higher. Girin Information Center - Ptosis correction

Today's Topic - Ptosis correction People who have ptosis make their eyes open with forehead and it makes wrinkles on the forehead as times go by. As shown above picture (Red square), the patient got wrinkles on the forehead because she had weak  eyelid elevating muscle function (Week levator muscle). So she underwent Non-Incision double eyelids surgery with Ptosis correction. Ptosis correction is surgical process which  usually involves tightening the levator muscle to elevate the eyelid. After the procedure, eyes would be more defined.   After the Ptosis correction, she felt quite satisfied with result, because she does not need to use forehead anymore. And she got much defined eyes.
