Topic - Is it more safe to fix with mircoplate screw for zygoma reduction?

The patient had New V-Line and 3D Zygoma reduction. First time when she visit us in person, she asked about New V-Line only. But, she had been under the stress because of her wide and prominent zygoma. So Dr.Lee recommend 3D zygoma reduction as well.
3D zygoma reduction requires 1 microplate screw fixation on anterior cheek.
She asked to fix extra microplate screw on her lateral cheekbone to prevent cheekbone drooping after surgery.

Many patient misunderstand about cheekbone dropping. The issue is not occurred by lack of screw, it caused by wrong zygoma reduction procedure.




After procedures, she happy with the result. And as shown above picture, there is NO cheekbone sagging.
